The Legend as told to the chronicler.
Once there were four brothers, tall and fair to behold. Gandalf, Hayduke, Don Juanson, and the youngest, Goose. They were brothers in many ways. The four shared some parts of their histories and varied greatly in others. Between them a great many aspects of human living were expressed. They were a collection of varieties. Where they lived, what they enjoyed, and how they approached the grand experiment of life were all different. Yet there was a thread, a filament of magic that connected them. Maybe it was some part of their shared history, maybe it was the appreciation each had for the differences they all had. It is rumored that they had each in their own way sipped from the well of wisdom that tells us we are stronger together and because of our differences.
When the Great Plague of Separation swept our fair planet the four brothers quickly realized the need to band together to fight it. Led by the techno-wizardry of Gandalf, the brothers gathered in the evenings, often near dinner time, to nurture the bonds that held them together. All topics were shared, many drinks were had, and they found that what they had created was good. Their separation ended.
That was the beginning of the beginning.
