The Origin of Circus

The Beginning of the Beginning

The Beginning of the Beginning

Once there were four brothers, tall and fair to behold.  Gandalf,  Hayduke, Don Juanson, and the youngest, Goose.  They were brothers in  many ways.  The four shared some parts of their histories and varied  greatly in others.  Between them a great many aspects of human living  were expressed.  They were a collection of varieties.  Where they lived,  what they enjoyed, and how they approached the grand experiment of life  were all different.  Yet there was a thread, a filament of magic that  connected them.  Maybe it was some part of their shared history, maybe  it was the appreciation each had for the differences they all had.  It  is rumored that they had each in their own way sipped from the well of  wisdom that tells us we are stronger together and because of our differences.

The Middle of the Beginning

The Beginning of the Beginning

When the Great Plague of Separation swept our fair planet the four  brothers quickly realized the need to band together to fight it.  Led  by the techno-wizardry of Gandalf, the brothers gathered in the  evenings, often near dinner time, to nurture the bonds that held them  together.  All topics were shared, many drinks were had, and they found  that what they had created was good.   Their separation ended.

The End of the Beginning

The End of the Beginning

As many brothers are wont to do, old stories were told.  Many of  those had something to do with motorcycles.  We realized that while we  had all ridden street bikes, we had never done it together.  Some of us  had also found that streets are boring.

Remember when . . .

The End of the Beginning

Plans were put forth, sacrifices were made, and what is known as  The Bootleg . . . Happened.  It involved a wildfire, a lack of brakes, a  tattoo, and some heat injuries.  But we all lived, and we learned  something about ourselves, both individually and as a group.  We learned  that a plan is only a plan, leaving the plan in the dust is when things  get interesting.  We learned that we can always figure out something,  especially when a madman brings most of his shop.  We learned that not  only is panic a lot of work, it is also pointless, and that hydration  really is important.

Remember when . . .

Remember when . . .

Remember when . . .

Like any group of people thrown together in exciting, scary,  stressing, interesting, or just magic situations, we learned that we are  better together and maybe we should do more of this kind of thing.

The Circus Arrives

Remember when . . .

Remember when . . .

And we want to share it.
